Credit to all original owners/posters of the pics!
I have an insane amount of photos saved to my camera roll. Every time I attempt to clean it out, I dirty it right back up again with thousands more pictures that won’t get glanced at again for at least two to three years. I’m too lazy to upload them to Pinterest - and most of them have already been posted there 100,000 times before I’ve even had the thought to post them myself, so really, I’m just too lazy to find them and save them there. So, they sit, waiting for something to be done with them, making me anxious as they linger.
Which is why I was sooo happy when I came across the most amazing post by aurora ! Her inspo dumping 01 post was such an amazing idea that lived in my head rent-free! I was grateful that she was okay with me doing my own version!!
And that’s how we got here. That and the fact that I need collage-making practice anyway.
So, here’s the first of what’s likely to be many posts like this. I am determined to clear out my gallery by sharing some of my fave pics with you <3 For this post, I wanted to share pics from my album, "details.”
1st starting with Anok Yai, and her stunning Met Gala after-party looks. The 2026 Met Gala is rapidly approaching, so it’s only right to finally get these pics out of my gallery to clear room for new ones.
Anok’s beauty is literally out of this world, and I adore anything sparkly, glittery, or bedazzled in any kind of way, so her Met Gala/Gala After Party looks have really done it for me!
She always looks so ethereal <3
I love anything floral, too. Such a soft, feminine, beautiful aesthetic, but I adore the armor-like floral detailing of Anna Taylor-Joy’s dress because of how two aesthetics - hard and soft - clash. It feels like a juxtaposition, which I always love.
The dress on the left lives in my head, rent-free, constantly. It’s a simple dress, but it’s one that would absolutely gag me if I saw it on the red carpet.
I think about the top in the top three pictures soo often. I love an eye-catching design, I do! I also think constantly about the gold flower top Camila Mendes wore at Vanity Fair’s 2024 Oscar party constantly. Just stunning!
I love colorful stuff, what can I say? It feels like everybody is afraid of vibrancy these days, with most people opting for minimalist, usually neutral, aesthetics. Bring back color, bring back fun!!
Just ! Gorgeous !
Butterflies make such a simple and beautiful aesthetic. Obsessed!
I think about BTS’ tattoos a perfectly normal, regular, sane amount.
More pics I think of so often <3 especially the ones from the 2024 Summer Olympics. Sigh. I wish the Olympics could just go on continuously, forever.
Megan Thee Stallion’s Bigger In Texas video is soo beyond aesthetically pleasing to me. The photo of Michael and Elizabeth Taylor is SO vivid/vibrant - every time I see a piece of media from the 80s-early 2000s, I feel an overwhelming amount of jealousy consuming me. Everything was just so bright, well-lit, and colorful. SIGH.
I love that I’ve been a fan of Beyonce since I was a literal baby and yet still, I find looks of hers that I’ve never seen before. When I saw this one, I fell in love with it instantly. Motha’s never looked a mess a day in her life! The same goes for Zendaya, whose shoot for Vogue Italia July 2022 also takes up residence in my head quite often. Raoul Alejandre did TF out of her makeup.
This is the best pose a pretty girl can do, like, I’m sorry.
Skin and gems, baby!!!
I think about the pearl-covered figurine by Elsid so much. It’s got to be one of my favorite pics ever, which sucked because I genuinely thought it was AI for the longest, but it’s not, so I’m happy !
I made all these in one go, so by this point, I was getting lazy lol but here are some more beautiful people and beautiful details!
I took a few hours to make these while listening to YouTube commentary videos and then Harry’s Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. (three times!!0 and THEN Namjoon’s Right People, Wrong Place, and it was soo much fun and so relaxing! I truly forgot how fun it was to sort through pretty pictures and make them into collages. It’s definitely something I have to return to doing more often - and since it gives me something to do while listening to music, I definitely will. Next time, I’m going to light a candle, do a face mask, and drink my hibiscus tea while I do it.
I hope someone out there enjoys this because there’s definitely more to come. <3
Also, this is my first post in my new “Open Drawer” category! I wanted a designated place within my Substack where the posts don’t have to feel as polished as I try to make my other ones. My intention is for this area to be more chill - but I’ll be battling against my perfectionism constantly, so who knows haha. Anyway, how did you like it?

this did nothing to reduce the amount of screen shots on my phone cause i'm obsessed with all of this!!! your taste is so sparkly and colorful and fun. i love all the butterflies and florals so much.
